Yap Yin Yin

Yin Yin, a Malaysian aged 53, joined Scicom on 1 September 2006 and was appointed Senior Vice President of Finance (Commercial) on 1 January 2021.

Since joining Scicom in September 2006 as Finance Manager, she has progressed through a range of increasingly senior roles, gaining extensive experience across commercial finance, financial management, business planning and strategic business support. Her nearly two decades with Scicom reflect a deep understanding of the organisation, its stakeholders and the dynamics of its business.

In her current role, Yin Yin partners with senior leadership and business stakeholders to strengthen financial performance, enhance commercial decision-making and ensure sound financial governance. She integrates financial discipline with commercial acumen, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational effectiveness and long-term value creation.

She holds a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
