Shireen Mohammad

Shireen Mohammad, a Malaysian aged 44, joined Scicom in January 2026. She leads the Group’s legal and compliance function, overseeing regulatory compliance, contracts and corporate governance.

She has approximately 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, spanning both private practice and in-house legal roles. She began her career in private practice, spending approximately eight years with established Malaysian law firms, where she advised listed and private companies on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters across diverse industries. Her experience included real estate investment trusts (REITs), initial public offerings, listing and regulatory requirements, property transactions, concession arrangements, retail, food and beverage, manufacturing and property development.

She subsequently transitioned to in-house legal roles, where she broadened her experience across the oil and gas, media and entertainment, franchising, e-commerce and direct selling sectors. In these roles, she advised on a wide range of corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational matters, including within regulated and compliance-intensive business environments.

Shireen was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
