Badrul Hisham Abd Hamid

Badrul Hisham Abd Hamid, a Malaysian aged 57, joined Scicom on 1 July 2024 as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategic Solutions (Gov-Tech). With more than 30 years of experience in information technology, solution development, project delivery and management, he specialises in transforming customer challenges into technology-enabled business solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen service delivery and create sustainable value.

Badrul has held senior leadership roles across multiple industries. He served as Head of IT in the hospitality sector before joining a multinational technology organisation, where he led more than 40 Programme and Project Managers across APJ, ANZ and EMEA. He subsequently headed Delivery and Project Management at a Malaysian technology company, overseeing major government and telecommunications programmes.

He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from MARA University of Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from University of Technology Malaysia and a Diploma in Computer Science from MARA Institute of Technology. His professional credentials include ITIL Service Management, PIKOM Senior Project Leadership, Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision Making, and Business Process Reengineering.
