KUALA LUMPUR: Scicom (MSC) Berhad, which reported a 22% drop in earnings in the second quarter ended Dec 31, said it was awarded a contract by the Tourism Ministry of Cambodia.
The project was for the development and implementation of a fully integrated Cambodia Tourism Management System at an undisclosed amount.
“The anticipated revenue from this contract is predicated on the number of air travellers to and from Cambodia,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
The tenure of the project is for a period of five years with an extension option of two years.
Net profit was down to RM9.4mil compared with RM12.1mil made a year earlier. Revenue declined 16.6% to RM43mil.
